This ride will take us southwest of Houston in search of interesting roads.  We'll head out to Katy, drop south and find our way past Brazos Bend State Park.  Then we'll pick up a few of the cool roads from the big ride last summer, along with a few new ones.  The return to Houston will be up Hwy 288.

This is a fairly short ride.  Therefore no lunch stop is planned, and you'll be back before the rain threatens (I hope!).

   - Breakfast 9:00 AM
          Gather at Denny's
          925 N Wilcrest  (map)
             (One block south of the Katy Fwy)

   - Kickstands up 10:00 AM
          Ride:  The southwest prairie
          Lunch:  None
          Return to Houston:  About 1:00 PM

   Ride temperatures ranging from 52 to 62 degrees
   Chance of rain:  20% shortly after the ride

Depends on how much it is raining, and what the forecast is.

I have not posted details on the ride yet because I am watching the forecasts closely.  There will be an announcement out to the whole club Thursday about it--whether we will have the ride or postpone it, and where to watch for last-minute updates if it is still on.
