Time again for our most popular ride: The Montgomery Trace, FM 3090 and FM 362. This is about the most curves and scenery you can pack into a single ride near Houston. The Montgomery Trace meanders through the Sam Houston National Forest with some nice hills and sweepers. FM 3090 is a highly technical gift to motorcyclists from the state highway department. And the route back along FM 362 provides a variety of sweepers and 90-degree turns. For many sections we will break into two groups--those who appreciate a brisk pace, and those preferring a more leisurely one. The ride will end at Houston Superbikes, where we'll have lunch and watch the MotoGP race live from Laguna Seca. If all goes to plan we'll watch the Saturday qualifying rounds as well.
