I think there was about 15 riders, so it was definitely a good turn out.  Glad there was fun to be had as this ride was literally setup in the last 20min of breakfast and keeping 15 bikes together through Galveston's traffic lights is a chore.

It was mentioned that we should think about setting up a "default" route for times when Carr is unable to attend.  If the route is stable then hopefully a couple more people will end up feeling comfortable leading due to familiarity with the route and not have to deal with thinking of one off the top of their heads at the last minute.

That is an excellent idea Allan!  A default route like that would really help out.

Sounds like a fun ride...sorry to have missed it!

Allan we lost you yesterday, did you head back? We waited for you in the restaurant parking lot for about 15 min but never saw you.  Tried calling you but I think I had your old no.

Miscommunication.  It was mentioned and I was under the impression that no one wanted to stay for lunch and y'all were heading straight back to Houston.  When I was getting some water everyone tore out of the gas station, so figured y'all were heading for the end of Bolivar (124).  I got back on the bike a couple minutes later and tried to play catchup (speeds shall remain a mystery), but never found the group which now is known why.

I got back to the Woodlands at 2:15p.
